WITHAM, George William. Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, February 2, 2005, following a courageous battle with congestive heart failure. Resident of Hawkesbury and Lost River, Que., formally of Brownsburg and Ogdensburg, Que. Beloved husband of Alida (Burk). Loving father of Malcolm, (Marilyn) and Richard (Shirley). Proud grandfather of Brad, Ryan, Lara, (Mother) Margaret, Kristina and Jason. Great grandchildren Jordan, Kailey and Kalen Witham. Son of the late William Witham and Lillian Hosgood of Brownsburg, Que. Survived by his brother Ernie, sister-in-law Elizabeth (Bob), Annie Laurie (Nelson) and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by a brother Fred of Vankleek Hill. A Funeral Service will be held at the Hawkesbury United Church, 260 McGill St., Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Visitation 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Desforges Funeral Home, 188 Main St., Grenville, Que.
