DIABO, George (Katsienhakeron). (1921-2005) At Kahnawake on February 5, 2005 after a long illness, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the age of eighty-three. Survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Evelyn, dear father of Sonny (Elva), Cynthia (Peter), Glen (Nelva), Albert (Michelle), Donald (Barbara), Ricky (Deneen), Johnny (Doreen), Barry (Kateri), Trina (RJ), loving grandfather of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Predeceased by his daughter Ilah, and brothers Luke, Mickey, Jimmy, Walter and sister Sylvia. Also survived by his sisters: Elsie, Betty, Marina, Bernice and brother Eugene. Resting at the Kahnawake Golden Age Club. Funeral service will be held at the Golden Age on Tuesday, February 8 at 2 p.m. Interment at Kateri cemetery.
