VELDHUIS, Elisabeth Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, on Sunday, February 6, 2005, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Jan. Loving mother of Sid (Sheila), Alice (Fred) and Harry (Donna). Grandmother of Yolanda, Rick, John, Nancy and Anita. Great-grandmother of 9. Survived by her sisters Co and Gerda. Predeceased by her son Johannes, her brother Simon and her sisters Annie and Alie. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean, on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital, especially the 4th floor A.L.C. Unit, for their exceptional care.
