CLAIRE-ANNE LANDRY May 17, 1924 - February 14, 2004 Peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, on Saturday, February 14, 2004 Miss Claire-Anne Landry aged 79 years, 9 months, late of Winnipeg and formerly of Montreal. Miss Landry was predeceased by her father Joseph in September 1966, her mother Marie-Agnes (nee Gauthier) in November 1973, her brother Georges in August 1978 and brother Emile in December 1991. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Miss Denise Landry of Winnipeg; her brother Charles Landry (Doraine Blomme) of Winnipeg; nephew Roger Landry (Kathryn Dopson) of Calgary; niece Louise (Peter Papadopoulos) and Jennifer, Jessica and Nicolas of Winnipeg; nephew Mark Landry (Ann Rundle) and Paul and Kevin of Montreal, nephew Claude Landry (Arlene Flanagan) and Justin and Michelle of Calgary. Miss Landry was born in Saint-Norbert where she received her schooling. She was then employed at Eatons in Winnipeg for a few years prior to joining Air Canada in Montreal from where she retired in 1985 after a 30 year career. She returned to Winnipeg in 1992. At her request cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Interment of ashes in the Saint-Norbert Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the 5th floor nurses and staff at the Victoria Hospital and Dr. Robyn L. Olson for their care of our sister, aunt and great aunt.
