LECUYER, Lucien E. In loving memory of Lucien, Elzear Lecuyer, 79 years of Sudbury, who passed away Monday, February 16, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Lucien was born in Montreal, Quebec. Lucien was a retired transport driver from C.P. He had been a member of Notre Dame du Rosaire Church when he lived in Val Caron. A proud Canadian, he served overseas during WWII with the Canadian Army. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 Sudbury. Lucien was devoted to his loving family. Beloved husband of Yvette (Paquette) Lecuyer of Sudbury; and Marguerite (Lariviere) Lecuyer, predeceased. Loving father of Joanne (husband Wayne Desjardins) of Garson, Richard of Calgary, Gerry of Val Caron, Randy (partner Helen) and Marguerite (husband Daniel Brisson) both of Sudbury. Special stepfather to Gisele Landry (husband Omer), Gaston Belanger (Denise), Larry Belander (wife Gail), Robert Belanger (wife Sharon), Leonard Belanger (wife Denise), Colette Montgomery (husband Paul), Helen Zettler (husband Gerald), Carol Bazinet, Raymond Gauthier (partner Gisele), Alice Galipeau (husband Vic), Gail Fera (husband Vince) and Gary Gauthier. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grand- children. Dear son of Elzear and Rose (Poirier) Lecuyer, predeceased. Dear brother of Therese Simpson, Rita Campeau (husband Bernard) and Yvonne Ouellette (husband Roland) all of Sudbury, Maurice of Azilda, and the late Norbert Lecuyer and Hermeline Gauvin, both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Prayer service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76, Sudbury. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
