ROGERS, Earl Founder of Gamble's Greenhouses (formerly Rogers Greenhouses) Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Alfred Rogers and the late Whillemina Martlock.. Beloved husband of 65 years of Ursula Rogers (nee Mockett). Dear brother of Edith Boland and Lydia Gadde. Predeceased by his brother Alfred and by 2 sisters Dorothy Stewart and Eleanor Rogers. Sadly missed by his nephews Fred and Ron Gamble whom considered Earl as a Dad. Also cherished by many other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt on Saturday from 1:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Special thanks to the emergency department and staff of the Q.C.H. and Dr. Ruparella for the excellent care and compassion.
