Melanie Elizabeth HAND

BAKALAR, Melanie (nee Hand) It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Melanie Bakalar (Hand) of Edson, Alberta (formerly of Ottawa and Medicine Hat, Alberta) at 35 years of age. She is the much loved daughter of Patricia Jenkins of Ottawa and Brian Hand of Medicine Hat, the kindest and most loving mother of her treasured children, son Kyle Bakalar and daughter Brianna Bakalar, the beloved companion of Blaine Schnell of Edson and loving stepmother of Kayle and Carter Schnell. She will be sadly missed and mourned by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends in Edson, Medicine Hat and Ottawa. A funeral service will be held on February 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue, corner Byron Avenue. Interment will be in Ottawa at a later date.
