ALEXANDER, Jack S. Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18th at the age of 86. He was the loving husband and best friend for Edna Hawson for over 61 wonderful years. Jack was the devoted father of Robert of Toronto, June Hall and Douglas (Leona) of Ottawa. He was the very proud grandfather of Harley, Max and Chesel. Jack will be missed by his sisters-in-law Gladys Spratt (Fred), Betty Alexander (the late Doug) of Sarnia and Betty Alexander (the late Bill) of Toronto. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Kim MacAskill, Mary Lou Anderson, C.C.A.C., the VON and the ladies at the Hospice at May Court. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Hurd officiating. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Hospice at May Court, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa, K1A 0X1.
