Geoffrey LAREAU

LAREAU, Geoffrey. At the Welland Hospital, Woolcott Wing on February 22, 2005 in his eighty-ninth year. Beloved husband of Marguerite (nee O'Mara). Loving father of Greg (Lynn) of Oakville, Paul (Heather) of Burlington and Cathy (Gord) Opperman of Welland. Beloved grandfather of Allison, Jeffery, Jaymie, Matthew and Shannon Lareau and Kevin, Kristy (Jim) and Jonathan Opperman. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Gertrude Lareau, brother Edward and sisters Marjorie Francoeur, Mildred Clasper and Viola Lareau. Mr Lareau was a veteran of WWII serving with the Alouette Squadron R.C.A.F., recipient of the D.F.C. and was a retired employee of the CBC with over 30 years service. A private family service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice with cards available at the H.L.
