CHRISTIE, Monte Retired Professor of Business, Algonquin College Peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Survived by his common law spouse, Victoria Sunderland, and his former spouse, Susan Christie-Hatt. Loving father of Erin Christie (Dean Snell) of Victoria, B.C. and Bill (Anika). Cherished grandfather of Jackson and Danae Christie-Snell. Also survived by his sister Sharonne Baker, his niece Lynn and his nephews Hial, Shawn and Mark and their children. A memorial gathering will be held at the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club, 125 Golf Club Road (283-3050) on Saturday February 26, 2005 between 1-4 p.m. The family wishes to thank Carol Seaby of At-Home Hospice and Dr. Louise Coulombe for their compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Rogers House, c/o 1000 Palladium Drive, Kanata, Ontario K2V 1A5, would be appreciated by the family.
