RYAN, Margaret C.N.D. (Sister St. Eleanor of Jesus) Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Montreal, QC on February 23, 2005. She was the daughter of the late William Ryan and Winnifred McLaughlin. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor, and her brothers, William and James. She leaves to mourn her sister Joan and a niece and nephew, William and Cathy. She will be sorely missed by her companions at Villa Marguerite. Sister Margaret taught at st. Willibrord's, D'Arcy McGee, and St. Monica's in Montreal, at St. Patrick's High School in Granby, at the Brockville Red College and at Notre Dame High School in Ottawa. After retiring from teaching, she studied Canon Law at St. Paul's University in Ottawa. Following graduation, she served in the Tribunals of the Diocese of Ottawa, On., Charlottetown, P.E.I., Toronto, On., and Kamloops, BC. The Wake will be held at 14370 Pierrefonds Blvd, Pierrefonds on February 25, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Vigil service starting at 8 p.m. The Eucharistic Celebration will take place at St. Suzanne's Church, 9501 Gouin Blvd. West, Pierrefonds at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2005. Thence to Cote des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal for burial. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 2/25/2005
