BURD, ALLAN RAY Retired Blacksmith, Malmbergs Truck Service After a brief illness on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, Allan Burd of Gloucester, formerly of Crysler in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Dingwall). Dear father of Don of Topley, B.C., Glenn of Greely, Dale (Angela) of Osgoode and Darrell (Grace) of Metcalfe, pre-deceased by infant daughter Elaine. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren. Brother of Grant (Edith) and the late Elsie, Alice Rose, and Evelyn. Fondly remembered by many friends and family. The family will receive visitors at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 1-2 p.m. Monday. Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Private Inurnment at a later date. Donations to the Kidney Care Foundation of the Ottawa Hospital would be most appreciated.
