MONTGOMERY, James Lincoln McDermid (Knights of Columbus Council 485 4th Degree - Father J.L. Reynolds Assembly) (WWII Veteran R.C.A.F - R.A.F.) (R.C.M.I.) Peacefully at The Hospice at May Court, Friday, February 25, 2005. James Montgomery age 85. Beloved husband of Margaret Tallmire. Loving father of Brian (Jane) and David (Joanna). Cherished grandfather of James and Sarah. Dear brother-in-law of Sr. Nancy Tallmire C.N.D. A unique man of character, humour and civility who suffered and survived. Born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Jim worked as a Consulting Exploration Geologist in Canada, Israel, Iran, Africa and his much loved Australia. Jim flew 38 missions as a Flight Lieutenant in R.C.A.F./R.A.F. Bomber Command. He lived a full challenging life on his own terms; fulfilled by his marriage to Margaret. He leaves many friends. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank) Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Knights of Columbus Tribute Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at St. Margaret Mary's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
