Margaret Hay 1918 - 2005 Margaret Hay, of Castle Manor, Moncton, and formerly of Connaught Ave., passed away at the Dr. GeorgesL. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the age of 86. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Emma (McHugh) Melanson. She was retired from T. Eaton Company after working as a buyer and an in store sales clerk for ladies attire. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club of the T. Eaton Company, and attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the C.W.L.. She was also an avid bridge player. She is survived by one sister, Frances Steeves; nieces, Marlene Pellerin, Mary Ellen Bailey, Margaret Kennedy, Katherine Peachey and Judy LeBlanc; nephews, Michael Steeves and Donald Melanson. She was predeceased by a brother, Forin Melanson. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by Margaret's request. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 10:00 am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
