DEVEAU, EDESSE MARIE The death of Edesse Marie Deveau, wife of the late Clarence Godin, occurred on Saturday February 26, 2005 peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Comeauville, NS she was the daughter of the late Roger and Alice (LeBlanc) Comeau. She is survived by one son Roland Godin of Nanaimo, BC; four daughters Elaine Duffy (Mark) of Mineville, NS, Sandra Spilman (Edward) of Fredericton, NB, Karen Stein (Tony) of Porters Lake, NS and Diane Mota (Dan) of Azores, Portugal; two brothers Gabriel Comeau of Methagen, NS and Albenie Comeau (Edesse) of Montreal, Quebec; one sister Anita Falkner of Halifax, NS; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend Fred Ramsey of Kingsley, NB. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A private memorial service was held at St. Theresa's RC Church on Sunday February 27, 2005 with Father John Jennings as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
