Margaret C. GANONG

BRANSCOMBE, MARGARET C. - The death of Margaret C. Branscombe occurred at her residence, The Bayview Special Care Home in Kars, NB on February 26, 2005. She was born in Long Point, NB on November 5, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Willard and Hazel (Pickle) Ganong and wife of Willard Branscombe. Margaret worked in The Saint John City Market for Perry's Meat Market and was a former member of Waterloo Street Baptist Church. She loved the Bellisle Bay and spending time with her family who she loved and devoted her life to. In addition to her husband Willard, she is survived by her son Walter Branscombe (Helen) of Long Point; daughter, Lynne Burnett (Terrence) of Saint John; one brother Arlington Ganong (Dorothy) of Long Point and her sister Helen Boyd (Lee) of Hatfield Point. Also survived by three grandchildren, Angela and Shauna Branscombe and Trisha Janssen, as well as two great grandchildren, Bradley and Allison Janssen and her brother-in-law, Fred Davis. Predeceased by one sister, Joyce Davis, and one brother, Bernard Ganong. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 1, 2005 in Cavanagh's Chapel at 11:00 am followed by interment in Ocean View Cemetery.
