Corinne "Peggy" Margaret Boudreau (née Meade) May 24, 1928 - February 27, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) BOUDREAU, Corinne Margaret "Peggy" - 76, Halifax. It is with deep sadness that the children of Peggy Boudreau announce the passing of their mother, at home on Sunday, February 27, 2005. Our love and respect for her knew no limits. Mom will now be happily reunited with our late father and her soul mate, Dr. Jack Boudreau. Peggy was born in Moncton, a daughter of the late Bernard and Corinne (Coleman) Meade. She began a short career as a nurse at the Halifax Infirmary in 1949 where she met and soon after married Jack. From that point on she dedicated her life, heart and soul to her family, giving unselfishly to her husband, eight children, their spouses and her cherished grandchildren. The Boudreau home was always open to friends, relatives and several "adopted" children who spent many good times there, as family. She also somehow found the time to give to her church and her community as a member of the CWL and the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Service. She led an active life throughout, playing golf and curling on a regular basis. Peggy and Jack were lucky enough to have very many close friends who played a significant role in their lives and the lives of their children. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by son, Tom (Mary Beth Fenton) and children Emily, James and Daniel; son, John (Lynn Kazamel) and children John, Thomas and Sarah; son, Robert and children Gregory, Lori, Jeffrey, and Justin; daughter, Mary Louise (Kevin Vessey) and children Michael and Corinne; son, Jim (Maureen Killorn) and their son Marc; daughter, Lisa (Mark Mifflin) and children Kathleen, Samson and Heather; daughter, Peggy (Jay Lugar) and children Jenny, Scott and Erin; and son, Paul (Claire Sykora). Peggy was predeceased by siblings, Catherine Flanagan, Mary Todd, and Donald Meade. The family will receive visitors in Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax, Wednesday, March 2, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with prayers at 8:30 p.m. Peggy's life will be celebrated with mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Thursday, March 3, at 10 a.m., with reception to follow in the church hall.
