Mrs. June Burniston (née McClure) June 28, 1941 - March 01, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Bowman Funeral Home BURNISTON: June of Wallaceburg passed away after a very courageous battle with cancer at her home and in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday March 1, 2005 at 63 years of age. Soul mate and best friend of Allan for 37 years. Loving, nuturing friend and mother to Shawn Burniston (Susan) of Chatham, Stacey Hedden (Jarrod) of Windsor, and Kim Marchand (Todd) of Tilbury. Cherished grandmother of Karly, Justin, Nicolas, Kyle, Colton and expected grandson Ashtyn. Survived by her mother Verna McClure and sisters in law Lee Grainger (Serge) of Chatham and Lynn Toll (Gerry) of Winnipeg. Predeceased by her father Adelbert McClure and brother Walter. After graduating from Chatham Public General Hospital June worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Together with her husband Al, June owned and operated the Mitchell's Bay Sportsman Camp for 14 years. She was an avid camper and boater and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. The family will recieve friends and relatives Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Ave., Chatham, (352-2390). A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
