Laura Ann McKenzie GILFORD, ON - Laura Ann McKenzie of Gilford, Ontario, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005 at the South Lake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, ON at the age of 69. Born September 25, 1935 in New Canaan, NB, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Bertha (Corey) Crossman. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob); two daughters, Carolyn Messenger of Gilford, Debbie Michalsky of Mississauga, ON and a son, Norman Percy of Gilford, two grandchildren, Nicole and Tim; two stepdaughters, Tracy and Melissa, both of Toronto; a stepson, Bobby of Toronto; two sisters, Ella Hoar (Hugh) of Sussex and Faye Sleep (Alvin) of New Canaan; two brothers, Jim Crossman (Joan) of Harewood and Frank Crossman (Marg) of Shelbourne, ON; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Fred Crossman and a sister, Erma Wilt. The funeral service will be held from the The New Canaan Baptist Church on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Wayne Ward officiating. Visiting hours will be held from the church from 12:00 PM until the time of service. The interment will take place at the The New Canaan Cemetery at a later date.
