Marie A. Clow Marie A. (McVicar) Clow, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005 after a long illness. Born in St. George, she lived in Moncton since 1958 when her husband, an RCMP Officer was transferred. She is survived by her three children and four grandchildren, Michael in Fredericton (married to Susan Machum, children Alexander and Gavin), Margaret in Halifax (married to Brian Bohan, children Kathleen and Robert), and Gerard in Moncton. She has five remaining siblings including Margaret (Ben) Leland in St. George, Marilyn (Charles) Bonvie in Halifax, Rosalind McVicar in Saint John, Neil (Jeannie) and Clayton (Angus) McVicar in St. George; and in-laws Rita McVicar and Beatrice McVicar. Predeceasing her were husband (Arnold Clow in 1989), parents (John in 1957 and Kathleen (Brown) in 2002 at age 102), and four siblings (Inez Holmes, Ralph, Art and Harold McVicar). Marie also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and their offspring. The Clow family would like to thank the caregivers at We Care Home Health Service, Lefurgey Residence and Pro Tem, especially nurse Chris Peters, in addition to special niece, Nellie (Leland) Wright for the excellent care and attention they gave Marie during the last few years. Marie will be remembered for working along side her husband and son in their business, Arnold's Studio Ltd., and for her sense of humour and caring nature. Visiting hours will be at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton between 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00, Friday, March 4, 2005. The funeral will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10:00am. Bishop Daniel Bohan will officiate. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring. A reception will follow the Mass. In Marie's memory, donations to Diabetes Association would be appreciated. www.fergusonknowlesfh.com
