BISHOP, EMILY IDA The passing of Emily Ida Bishop occurred at York Manor Nursing on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2005 at the age of 105. Born in Williamsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Dorcas) Hay and wife of the late Wesley E. Bishop. She was a member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church and the Rebekah's Lodge. Surviving are; a son Ralph and wife Celina of Fredericton, a daughter Velma Steeves of Halifax, NS, 15 grand- children, 30 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren, sister-in law Hazel Hay, brother-in law John Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Russell, daughter Myrtle MacDonald, brothers and sisters. Although there will be no visitation the funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 6th at 3 PM with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish memorials may be made to the York Manor Nursing Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
