Mrs. Sarah J. Dower 1928 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Sarah Jane Dower, widow of the late Bertrand Dower, of Island View Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the age of 76. Born in Derby Junction, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys (Drillen) Goodfellow. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of N.B. Telephone Co. Ltd. She was a member of St. James United Church, Miramichi, and a member of Prince Andrew Chapter # 42, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Twila McKinley (Kenny), of McKinleyville, and Darlene Dower (Eddie), of Miramichi; one brother, Melvin Goodfellow (Noreen), of Dorchester, ON; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Greg and Amy; one great grandchild, Kaden; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bert, in 1985; one son, Johnny Dower; two sisters, Mildred O'Connor and Helen Armstrong; two brothers, Miller and Gilmore Goodfellow. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Sunday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, March 7, 2005, conducted by Rev. Ross Wiseman. Interment will be in St. James United Church Cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
