TIPPETT, ROY JAMES - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday March 5th, 2005. Born on September 1st, 1933 in Saint John NB. He was the son of the late John P. and Winnifred (Gorham) Tippett. Roy is survived by his loving wife Gloria (Warnock) Tippett. Besides his wife, Roy is survived by a son, Dana (Karen) of Grand Bay Westfield and a daughter, Cynthia (Jeff) Maguire of Lorneville, two sisters, Ester McKay of Waterloo Ont. and Ruth Murphy of Saint John, five grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, Kody, Kalie Tippett, and Matthew Maguire and several nieces and nephews. Roy was a member of the Grand Bay-Westfield Baptist Church, active in building the Church parsonage, member of the Church Choir, a Sunday School Teacher, the Boys Brigade Member and a Church Treasurer, and was employed with the IBEW Local # 502 Electrical, Harbour Bridge, UNB in Fredericton, G&S Electrical, Ralph Lawton Elec., Module Structures, Hartt Homes, Point Lepreau, Saint John Dry-dock, Saint John Regional Hospital and several others over the passed years. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitations on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday from the Grand Bay Westfield Baptist Church from 12 noon until service time at 2pm. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the NB. Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donors choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
