Viola "Ya-Ya" Margaret Pottie July 13, 1917 - March 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) POTTIE, Viola Margaret "Ya-Ya" - 87, Armdale, died March 4, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, with her family and friends at her side. Born in L'Ardoise, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary "Minnie" (Landry) Pottie. She enjoyed playing cards with friends. She will be missed by her family and her companions, her cats, Fluffy, Puss, Blackie and Pat. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Pottie, Halifax; nieces, Viola Aucoin and Mildred Sampson; sister, Matilda Longaphy, Halifax. She was predeceased by brothers, Huey and Leo; sisters, Theresa, Agnes, Louise, Mary Elise, Annie, and a sibling in infancy. Thank you to the staff at the VG Site, QEII. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Herring Cove Road, on Thursday, March 10, at 10 a.m., Father Charles Pottie officiating.
