JOHNSTON, SHIRLEY MARY - The death of Shirley Johnston of Carlingford occurred on March 7, 2005 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 85. Born in Tilley she was the daughter of the late Adam and Adelaide (Brayall) Baker. She is survived by two sons Cameron Johnston of Kelowna, B.C. and Reid Johnston of Carlingford; grandchildren Delight and Melanie Johnston, adopted grandchildren Katie and Charlie Whitworth; niece Doreen (Kevin) Sooley. Predeceased by her husband Bruce Johnston, parents Adam and Adelaide Baker, brothers Claude, Clair, Elwood, Ellis, Cecil and Weldon Baker. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Thursday March 10 from 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday March 11 at 2 PM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. Interment will be in the Currie Cemetery at a later date.
