McLENNAN, BARBARA S. (BYERS) - passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Thursday, March, 10th, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Wife of the late John M. McLennan of West Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John she is the daughter of the late Roy and Violet (Fawcett) Byers. "Mom" devoted her life to her children and her eight grandsons. Barbara was an active member of her community and a member of the Parish of Nerepis - Saint John and its Ladies Altar Guild. Barbara had no trouble making friends. She was well known as being very helpful to all she met. Barbara is survived by her children, Billy (Cathy), Kathy Higgins (Peter), Wendy Gray (Jerry), Doug, and Donna White (Steven), eight grandsons, Matthew, Justin, Jared, Andrew, Brandon, Nathan, Quinten and Ryan, sisters Doris Price, Eleanor Foster (Rudi), brothers Doug (Anne) and Roy. Barbara was predeceased by her brother Ronald. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506 - 634 - 1701) from where the family will receive friends during visitation on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, March, 12th, 2005 at 2:30 pm. The interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
