Evelyn Rose Roma (née Gilfoy) February 26, 1912 - March 09, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) ROMA, Evelyn Rose - 93, Halifax, passed away in QEII Health Sciences Centre, on March 9, 2005. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Gilfoy. She was predeceased by husbands, Robert H. Powell, Ray T. Kelly, and Leo Roma; sisters, Florrie Gilfoy and Rita Tanner. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces, Dorothy Scott, Sharon Tanner, and Joyce Forsythe, with whom she made her home in recent years; nephew, Michael and his wife Meena and their daughter Marika. Visitation will be in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, today from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Halifax, by Father Kenneth Robertson, at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, with burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower
