Patricia Gail Wilson (née Sampson) Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home It is with great sadness we advise that Patricia Wilson passed away peacefully at her home in Vancouver on Saturday February 19, 2005. Devoted wife of Kenneth Douglas Wilson, loving daughter of Leonard B. Sampson and sister Judith Marilyn Chapman (and her family). Patricia was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Eleanor Sampson (nee Booth). She also leaves behind many dear and loving relatives and friends, including her aunt Gedrgie Booth, and family. Patricia was born in Montreal, and was raised and educated in Winnipeg. She attended Vincent Massey High School in Winnipeg, private schooling at Laurel Bank Girls School, Glasgow, Scotland and Graduated with a B.A. from Sir George Williams University (Concordia) in Montreal. She met her husband at university and was married February 3rd, 1973. She lived her final 30 years in Vancouver, B.C., where she was a dedicated and loyal employee for Air Canada, from 1970 until her retirement in 2001. In her time she counseled many people with serious problems, who found her to be a positive, calming and caring influence in their lives. She will be remembered not only for the sadness of her departing, but also for the joy she brought by her living. A memorial Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 16th, 2005.
