HEALEY Mrs. Gloria A. (Retired teacher Phd. Education) Peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday evening January 22nd, 2005 at the Timmins & District Hospital, aged 71 years of Timmins. Beloved wife of the Late Blaise Healey (*1997) and loving mother of Jennifer Lyn (Mrs. Roger Laflamme) of Timmins and Shawn (Louise) Healey of Snow Lake, Manitoba. Cherished grandmother to Julian Laflamme and Ian, Miranda & Sarah Healey.She also leaves 3 sisters, many brothers & sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Gloria was born in Kirkland Lake and had been a longtime resident before moving to Timmins in 1998 after the death of her husband, to be close to her daughter. She was on many boards and community services in Kirkland Lake, involved with the C.W.L. of St. Joachim's church, Ladies Auxillary of the Dante Club and volunteered for the Dialysis Unit of the Timmins & District Hospital. She was affectionately known by many as Nanny, Mom, Auntie or just a very dear friend by all who knew her.Remembrance donations may be made through the funeral home to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Joachim's Church South Porcupine on Saturday February 5th, 2005 at 11:00AM with Father Mitch Sliwa officiating.
