BENDER Cecil Robert Jan 09 ’22 - Jan 14 ’05 Veteran Passed away peacefully at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson on Friday morning January 14th, 2005. Cecil was predeceased by a wife Vera, an infant daughter Jaqueline, a sister Dorothy. Cecil is survived by his loving wife Ermina (née Humphries) of Shillington, his daughters Patsy (Mrs. Jim Barber) of North Bay and Judy (Mrs. Tim Olaveson) of Matheson, sons Ron (Sharon Ann) of Ottawa, and Robert of Matheson. Fondly remembered by Robert Montague (Val) of Vanderhoof, B.C., Terry Montague of Terrace B. C., Judy Haaksman of S.S.Marie and Jean Wedge of Timmins. Cecil (Poppa) will be sadly missed by grandchildren Matt & Amy, Cindy, Tina, Lori, Jamie, Tim & Jake, Brody, Stacey & Amy. Also by Taryn, Sara, Tyler & Emily, Mark & Jillian & Alain and fondly remembered by his great grandchildren Allison & Shawna, Liam & Mitchel, Blake, Scosia & Sierra and Quinton. Cherished brother of Ralph (Ida) of Elliott Lake, Clifford (Jean) of Matheson, Alvin (Marla) of Matheson, Marjorie of Tillsonburg, Jean (McMain) of Tillsonburg, Mildred (Mrs. Bruce Sanford) of Barrie and Helen Andrews of Matheson. Remembrances made to Bingham Memorial Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Cremation has been carried out according to his request. Visitation for family and friends on Wednesday January 19th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at St. Andrew's United Church, Matheson, Ont., followed by a memorial service at 11:00AM.
