TERRIAH, John Jr. – At the Tsi Ion Kwa Nonh So:te Nursing Home, Cornwall Island on Friday, February 4, 2005. John Alexander Terriah, formerly of Wales Road, Ingleside; age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Gallinger. Dear father of Gordon Terriah (Helen), Terry Terriah (Lise), Catherine Woods (Richard) all of Lancaster, Heather Poitras (Herbie) of Ingleside, Wayne Terriah (Betty-Ann) of Williamstown, Linda Terriah of Moose Creek, Larry Terriah (Nickie), Richard Terriah (Jeannine), Diane Terriah, Gloria Terriah (John) and Caroline Terriah all of Cornwall. Dear son of the late John Terriah and the late Rose Legue. Dear brother of Elie Terriah of Cooper Falls, Beatrice Terriah, Susan Terriah, both of Montreal and Jean Lalonde (Greg) of Cornwall. Predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Verna McPhail. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 2 pm Monday. Funeral Tuesday February 8, 2005 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Spring interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Michael Hermann of Knox-St. Paul’s United Church officiating. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and from 12 noon until time of Funeral on Tuesday.
