Christopher John Cooper (1965-2005) The family announces with great sorrow the passing of beloved son and brother, Chris, on Friday, February 11 at his home in Ottawa, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Campbell, his 3-year-old daughter, Geneva, and stepdaughter, Jasmine. He will be so dearly missed by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Cooper, and his four sisters: Deborah Normand (Henri) of Rigaud, Que., Lorna Cooper of Timmins, Nancy Cooper (Wayne Brown) of Timmins and Marlene Cooper (Kevin Best) of Owen Sound. Born and raised in Timmins, Chris was a true northerner with a great fondness for the outdoors. He loved to go fishing with his father. His courageous spirit, sense of humour and his infectious love of life endeared him to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to charity. The family will receive friends at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph’s Boulevard, Orleans, Ontario on Feb. 15, 2005 from 11:00 a.m to 1:45 p.m. The funeral mass to celebrate his life will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Divine Infant in Orleans. - 2/16/2005 - ID5684907
