Doris AMADIO

Doris Parisi (née Amadio) 1930-2005 The family announces with sorrow her death on Saturday March 5th, 2005 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 74. Doris was predeceased by her husband James, by her grandson Michael and by her parents Lena and John Amadio. She is survived by her son Joe and his wife Ruth and by her daughter Chris Pawson and her husband Terry. Doris also leaves 5 grandchildren, James, Lindsay and Patrick Parisi and Kate and Matthew Pawson. She is survived by her sisters Cora Ciccone and Mary-Anne Gervais and her husband Wilfred, by her brothers John Amadio and Norman Amadio and his wife Lorraine. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Frank Parisi and his wife Evelyn, Al Parisi and his wife Laura and Tony Ciccone. Doris also leaves many nieces and nephews. Doris was born in Timmins and spent her life here. She and her husband enjoyed a lot of time at their cottage on Hydro Bay. Over the years, Doris was involved in numerous service organizations in the city. She loved knitting and other hand work. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 8th, 2005 at 11 am at the Sacred Heart Church. Remembrance donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital or to the Golden Manor will be greatly appreciated. The family received friends on Monday March 7th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Maison funéraire LESSARD-STEPHENS funeral Home.
