BABCOCK, William James Charles (Bill) At home as he wished, on February 11, 2005, after 85 years of sharing great stories, enjoying life and Sunday dinners. Strengthened by cherished memories, his wife of 63 years, Lillian (nee Corcoran). Predeceased by his son Arthur (survived by wife Judy). Tenderly remembered by daughter May (Ron), daughter Marie (Paul), daughter Debbie (Norman), son Ken (Andrea), daughter Karen (John), son Paul (Donna), 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Predecease d by sister Lottie and brother Harold (survived by Lois), dearly missed by brother Frank (Jean), sister Gloria and families. Bill was a long time employee of James Richardson and Sons, Crawford Fuels. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Lewis Bryant officiating. A reception will be held at the James Reid Recep tion Centre (please enter from the rear parking lot) following the committal service at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
