STRATUIK, John Richard In his 53rd year, peacefully at the Smith Falls Hospital on February 24, 2005, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Devoted and loving husband of Theresa (nee Teeple). Loving father of Matthew and son of Reta Stratui k. He is survived by his brothers Wayne, Brian and David and his sister Gail. Predeceased by his father Michael Stratuik and his brother Gary. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. The Venerable Edward Dallow officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be mad e to the Ottawa General Hospital, 5th floor, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, in memory of John and would be greatly appreciated.
