WELCH, Vernice (nee Jackson) Peacefully at Friendly Manor Nursing Home, February 20, 2005. Survived by her sister Marie Clark. Predeceased by her husband Alec, son Douglas Mitchell, sisters Hilda, Luella, brothers George, John (Wilma), Gerald and sur vived by sisters-in-law Mary Jackson and Jackie Jackson. Will be fondly remembered as a special aunt by many nieces and nephews. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Friendly Manor Nursing Home in Deseronto. Friends will be r eceived at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy) on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23rd. Rev. Oscar Si mpson officiating. Burial to follow at Sandhill Cemetery.
