KENNEDY, Gerald Hugh C.D. Guardsman: R.C.R. (Ret.) Sgt. Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, with his loving wife and daughters by his side, on Sunday, March 13, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age 66. Beloved husband of Ri ta. Dear father of Debbie and her husband Bruce Kane and Lynn (Dwayne Marquette). Proud grandfather of Ryan, Owen, and Jocelyn Kane, Danielle and Drew Marquette. Survived by his brothers and sisters Marl, Lorraine, Donna, Mike and Gary. Following Ger ald's wishes, cremation will take place. Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Mass to be held in St. Paul the Apostle Church (1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. The Army, Navy and Air Force Club will have a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
