Michael John LEKAS

Michael Lekas Michael John Lekas, of Moncton, N.B., passed away on March 11, 2005 at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Michael was a retired Deputy Police Chief after 33 years of service in Sackville N.B. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club in Sackville. Michael will be missed by his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Crossman) Lekas; his two sons, Scott Lekas of Halifax, N.S. and Steven Lekas (Patricia) of Sackville, N.B.; his grandchildren, Lekas, Ashley, Jacob, Nicholas and Emily Anne; his siblings, Allan Lekas, Mary Horseman (Joseph) and Diana Gillespie (G. Patrick). The remains have been forwarded for cremation. There will be no visitation. As per Michael's request, there will be a private family service.
