SANDWITH, DELORA ELIZABETH (GRIFFITHS) The death of Delora Elizabeth (Griffiths) Sandwith wife of the late Roland Sandwith occurred on Friday March 11, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Burtt's Corner, NB she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie (Crandall) Griffiths. Delora was a member of the Kingsley United Church, she was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary of Kingsley and the Kingsley Senior's Group. She is survived by two sons Royden (Debra) Sandwith of Royal Road, NB and Winston (Wendy) Sandwith of Royal Road, NB; two daughters Myrna (Gary) Craig of Royal Road, NB and Lois (Donald) Painter of Fredericton, NB; eight grandchildren Janet (John) Waterhouse, Danny (Tabatha) Craig, Benjamin (Cheryl) Sandwith, Jeffery Sandwith, Andrea (Francis) Morissette, Brad (Jill) Painter, Brent (Melissa) Sandwith and Hollie (Jason) Cougle; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister Frances Home of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one grandson Corey Sandwith; five brothers Burpee, Thomas, Irvine, Winslow and Franklin and one sister Beatrice Wilson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton North on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2 PM from the Kingsley United Church with Rev. Joanne Barr officiating. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers for the service will be Danny Craig, Brad Painter, Ben Sandwith, Jeff Sandwith, Brent Sandwith and Ross Griffiths. Honorary pallbearers will be Marjorie Rice and Phyllis Nealis. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kingsley United Church or to the charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
