Mrs. Norma Lea Maddison September 20, 1948 - March 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Norma Lea Maddison age 56 of Amherst passed away Monday, March 14, 2005 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Amherst she was a daughter Jennie (Rolfe) Nelson of Amherst and the late Norman "Banty" Nelson. Norma worked in the Sunny Boy Bakery in Amherst and Sackville which was owned by her mother and father. After leaving the bakery business she became a stay at home Mom and enjoyed gardening, spending time with her granddaughter and her dog Rascal. Norma was a member of the Amherst Lions Club and the Pythian Sisters in Amherst. She is survived by one daughter Leeann (Chris Lines) of Lakeville, N.B., one sister JoAnn (Larry) Cormier of Amherst and one brother Graham (Sharon) Nelson of Amherst, one granddaughter Rebecca of Lakeville and four nieces and one nephew and her father in law Robert Maddison of Springhill. Norma was predeceased by her husband Terry Maddison. Her remains are resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, N.S. (667-9906) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 3 p.m. from Campbell's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Mack officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in the Leamington Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Norma's memory may be made to the Amherst Lions Club, Heart and Stroke of Nova Scotia or the L.A.
