Dorothy Sullivan MIRAMICHI, NB - Dorothy Sullivan, 89, of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Howard St., Miramichi, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 15, 2005. Dorothy was born in St Margarets, NB, the daughter of the late John A. and Anna (Malloy) Power. She was a school teacher, an Honorary member of the Miramichi Area Retired Teachers Association, a member of St. Michael's Basilica and the Catholic Womens League. Dorothy is survived by her son, Leo and his wife Janet (Fraser); three grandsons, Shawn, Kevin and Brian Sullivan; one brother, Thomas Power (Anne) of Miramichi; one sister, Anne Dunn of Colgan, ON; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Anthony (Tony) Sullivan; infant grandson, Anthony Donald; three brothers, Leo, John, and Terrence Power; three sisters, Margaret Power, Evelyn Concey and Edna Flanagan. Visitation for family and friends will be held from Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home or the St. Michael's Building Fund would be appreciated.
