Walter Raymond Mitchell 1916 - 2005 Walter Raymond Mitchell, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the age of 88. Born in New Carlisle, PQ, he was the son of the late Walter and Myrtle (Dickson) Mitchell. He retired from CNR as General Manager of Operations. A member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, he was a member of Acacia Masonic Lodge #49, the Shriner Luxor Temple and the Royal Order of Scotland. He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Eleanor C. (Coleman) Mitchell; sisters, Helen Davis of Fredericton, NB and Gloria Boyle of Edmonton, AB; and a brother, Alden Mitchell (Beatrice) of East Port, Nfld. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Jardine, Margaret Maloney and Audrey Winton; brothers, Otto, Lionel and Everett Mitchell. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St., Moncton on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Acacia Masonic Lodge # 49 will be holding a memorial service at 6:45pm on Friday. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Martin Kreplin and Rev. Murray Graham officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations made to the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
