Laura E. Brace 1923 - 2005 Laura E. Brace, in her 82nd year, of Royal Court in Riverview and formerly of Cole Ave. North, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, March 18, 2005. Born in Havelock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Ethel C. (Price) Perry. Laura had been earlier employed with Blue Cross for 5 years and later worked with the CN Accounting Dept., retiring with 24 years service. Laura was a member of First United Baptist Church and she was an adherant of the Moncton Weslyan Church, and she was a member of the Weslyan Seniors Group. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Jones (Danny Doucette) of Moncton; son, Garnet Steeves (Teresa) of Centerville, NS; granddaughter, Amy Jonah; grandson, Marty Steeves (Penny); and great grandsons, Patrick and Dylan Steeves; a sister, Marjorie Tremble of Moncton; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorne Brace in 1992; by brothers, Clyde Perry and Donald Perry; and by sisters, Doris Simmons, Evelyn Hawkes and Blanche MacFadyen. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. on Sunday, March 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Laura's memory made to Gideon Bibles or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
