DAVIS, Helen Evelyn, At St. Andrew's Terrace Long Term Care Center on Monday, February 14, 2005 in her 80th year. Helen Evelyn (McArthur) Davis was called to be with her Lord and loved ones gone before. Helen was the dearly beloved wife and best fri end of the late Percival Davis (1994); cherished mother of Karen and her husband James Pinchin of Severn Bridge, Joanne Davis and her fiance George Dennison of Etobicoke; lovingly remembered by her grandson George Gregory of Severn Bridge. Helen is a lso survived by her brother Edward McArthur and his wife Margaret of Red Bay, her Godson Thomas E. Lewis and his wife Joanne of St. Catharines and four nieces and their families. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Anne McArthur and her brother James McArthur of Barrie and sister Vera Gibson of Barrie. Helen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Kitchener, Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the K-W Wing #404 R.C.A.F.A. and long ti me volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society. Helen will be dearly remembered by those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the SCHREITER-SANDROCK FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 51 Benton at Church Street, Kitchener (519-742 -4481) for memorial visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Canon Sonja Pearson officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be b eside Perc, in the Garden of the Good Sheppard, Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
