ALLEN, Garnet L., After a brief illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best friend of May, in their 50th year of marriage. Loving father of Tracy and her husband John Rodey. Sp ecial Papa of Alex and Lucas. He will be greatly missed by "The Perkins Coffee Club". Mr. Allen was an employee of Guillevan International (Vallance Brown) for over 40 years. Special thanks to the St. Catharines General Hospital Intensive Care Unit a nd a very special thank you to Dr. Thomas Nolan. At Garnet's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Garnet's life will be held at Howard Johnsons on Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 2-5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Ca tharines General Hospital New Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
