RIVETT, Jean (nee Petrescu), Suddenly at her residence in Thorold on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Loving mother of Candi (Dennis) Bigford and Gordon W. (Louise) Rivett Jr. Dear stepsister of David (Aileen) Dennis and Shirley Dennis. Jean will be greatl y missed by her grandchildren Gerry Rivett, Shannon and Cameron Bigford. Special aunt of Darlene Doda and her daughter Nicole. Predeceased by her parents Nick and Mary Dennis and sister Margaret Doda. Jean worked at the St. Catharines General Hospita l in E.C.G. for over 30 years. She was loved by all who knew her. Her love of life, sense of humour, contagious laughter will always be remembered. Jean was treasured by all her friends and will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends a the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, March 6th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. 3/4/2005- ID5779722 - St. Catharines Standard
