JONES, Arthur Sidney "Sid", It is with great sadness that Sid's family announces his passing on Friday, March 4, 2005, at the Shaver Hospital, after a brief illness, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Catherine, loving father of Rick (Cathy) Jones , of Welland and step-father of Joanne (Frank) Neufeld of St. Catharines, Nancy (William) Chau, of Surrey, B.C. and Leslie Jones, of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Dear grandfather to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Helen (1964) and brother Fred (2003). Sid retired from Lightning Fastener in 1978, was a great husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. At Sid's request, cremation has taken place. A Service to cele brate his life will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, 80 Main Street, Port Dalhousie. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hotel Di eu Hospital Dialysis Unit.
