H. Thomas JOHNSON

JOHNSON, H. Thomas, Retired Postmaster, formerly of Oakville, passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 7th, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Edna Johnson (nee Casey) and loving father of Patri cia (Wayne) Thorsteinson of Thorold. Loved granddad of Janice (Darryl), Catharine and Christine. Tom is survived by two sisters, Ada Blogg and Doris Venes in England and predeceased by his brother Fred. He is also survived by sister-in-law Winnifred (Lesley) Webb of Belleville and predeceased by brother-in-law Charles (late Lillian) Casey. Loved uncle of Andrew and Paul, Carol and Colin and Geoffrey and Catherine. Tom was a Veteran of WWII, serving with the British Armed Forces from 1942-1947. T he family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Wednesday, March 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
