John H. HULL

HULL, John H., Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Linhaven Home, on March 12, 2005 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Robertson) for almost 55 years. Dear father of Donald and his wife Phyllis, and Sandra and her husband C larence Showalter, all of St. Catharines, Ontario. Poppa of MacKenzie and Harrison Hull. Brother-in-law of Yvonne Hull. Predeceased by brother William H. Hull. Affectionately known to his family as "Henry". John was employed with Mutual Life for over 20 years, and National Trust for 13 years, retiring in 1987. John was a graduate of the St. Catharines Collegiate - Class of 1941. Veteran of WWII, where he served with The Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 24 for over 50 years and member of Knox Presbyterian Church, the St. Catharines Club and the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, 905-684-6346, on Tuesday, Mar ch 15, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As per John's wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
