SACCO, Gino, With heartfelt sadness, the loving family of Gino Sacco announces his peaceful passing at the Extended Care Unit of the Welland Hospital on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the age of 82. He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 51 years, Concetta (Mucciarelli) who passed in 2001. Cherished father of Gloria Tokar (Lee), Remo Sacco (Lynn), and Malvina Cowan (Bruce). Remembered with love by his grandchildren Natalee, Katrina, Cory, Mathew and Bianca. Dear brother of Evucia in Italy. Br other-in-law of Sistina Sacco, Gabrielle Mucciarelli (Maria), Osvaldo Mucciarelli (Bernardine), Maria Podda (Aldo), Josephine Maiorano (Geraldo), Valentino Mucciarelli (Antoinetta), and Silvio Mucciarelli (Lillianna). Also survived by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Salvatore and Julio Sacco, and his sisters Malvina Pichelli, Clemintina Coccagna and Elisabetta Nori. Mr. Sacco served in the Italian Armed Forces during WWII. He came to Welland in 1948 where he worked at Union Carbide until his retirement. Friends are invited to call at J.J. PATTERSON & SONS FUNERAL RESIDENCE, 19 Young Street, Welland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Norm an Bordage, C.S.C. at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal at Pleasantview Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Extended Care Unit of the Welland Hospital.
